Established in 1985, we provide long distance telephone, credit card, online activism, wireless and other services to over 400,000 customers and in the process raise millions of dollars for groups working for peace, equality, human rights, education and the environment. In the 25 years we've been in business, we've generated over $65 million in donations to nonprofit groups.

We are located in San Francisco and currently have a staff of 80. Data MacGyver

CREDO Mobile is looking for an analytic problem solver who wants to change the world and has a passion for data and technology. We need someone who can work with a variety of data structures to build systems for analysis that drive impactful business decisions. You will work with other analysts and marketers to extract information from our databases and transform that information into actionable intelligence. You need to be a highly motivated self starter who can attack a problem creatively and enthusiastically with minimal supervision. In this role, you will help CREDO make smarter decisions on who we market to, how we communicate with customers and prospects and how we allocate our Marketing dollars. Additionally, you will work with data from our online activism program, helping make that program be more impactful and efficient. We are a small company; you will work with everyone from coordinators to the CEO and thus, you must be comfortable discussing data and analytics intelligently and coherently at many different levels. CREDO is a highly analytic organization where data is the basis for every decision we make; therefore your role is pivotal in both a strategic and tactical way The Data MacGyver will need to juggle numerous projects at once in a fast paced environment where priorities can shift. Mobile Product Manager

Our Mobile Product Manager is be part of a small team responsible for developing and managing our mobile handset lineup and service offerings. In addition to facilitating the launches of products and services, you will provide on-going support to functions like Marketing to help grow our unique business and drive engagement through the use of online and SMS communication tools. The ideal candidate will be an organized, self-driven product manager with outstanding communication skills and industry experience. In addition, they will have a passion for mobile technology and live by the applications on their mobile phone – whether it be Google Maps, Facebook, or the Huffington Post. Responsibilities: be the internal subject matter expert for the entire mobile handset portfolio to answer questions related to handset features and content services available on our handsets. Keep abreast of other service provider’s handsets and provide competitive product information to marketing and customer service. Find and investigate new mobile products, services, and applications that would be of interest to our customers. Marketing Analyst

Responsibilities include: design, develop, publish and interpret regular reports on sales, attrition, political activity and customer lifecycle; extract and analyze data from multiple sources to understand customer attrition and use this information to direct our renewal, loyalty and retention programs; generate ad-hoc analysis to evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of marketing efforts; develop analytically based segmentation strategies for acquisition and retention programs; assist on complex analytic projects and building predictive models. Training and Quality Assurance Manager

Successful candidates will have customer service training skills, third party vendor management experience, and the ability to work successfully with a wide variety of others within the company whose work affects customer service agents. Requires the ability to blend a commitment to cost effectiveness with using high quality customer service to lower attrition, and the skill to quickly become fluent in the use of our customer service systems. In the mobile industry, customer service training is essentially continuous to take into account new products, rate changes, system changes and new employees. Our customer service is provided by a third party vendor that is geographically distant, so significant travel will be necessary to excel in this position. Key Job Responsibilities include: manage center training and quality assurance programs; ascertain when training needs to happen and by whom; develop specific trainings and materials or review and approve materials provided by vendor, and conduct trainer observations and monitor trainer and trainee performance. Quality Assurance Engineer

Our Quality Assurance Engineer creates and executes test plans, test cases, and scripts for development projects supporting our billing, rating, CRM, and web systems. Other responsibilities: drive resolution of reported defects with software developers; understand and communicate defect priority; support operations/production support team in validating production defects; provide perspective and guidance on launch readiness of projects, and review and provide feedback on requirements and design documentation. Requires: 2-3 years experience in software quality assurance, with a track-record of quality releases/deliverables (based on metrics); experience with system, functional, integration, regression, and post implementation validation testing; experience with the testing of projects that touch many disparate systems and require heavy integration testing; understanding and experience of both white box and black box testing; experience negotiating with external and internal vendors during the testing lifecycle; clear/concise communication skills, and exceptional analytical skills.
